Silk! For Hair Health

Our silk hair treatment is hand-made from our own special strain of silkworms, hand-raised on our small urban farm in Portland, Oregon.

“Snuggles” Silk Throw

This wonderful silk throw is lightweight yet warm and cuddly, perfect for snuggling on the couch during cold winder nights!

It is made from 100% noil silk, produced in India as part of a rural development project.

This large throw is very large — 70 x 50 inches. The short sides feature a hand knotted fringe.

These special editions of Cheryl Kolander’s seminal work on silk, A Silkworker’s Notebook, contain real samples of rare silks and are signed by the author.

The 1st edition is hand-bound by the author in a Japanese-style binding with indigo blue silk cords. The 3rd edition is a high quality hardbound limited-run (only 500 copies ever printed).
