This natural “mulberry” silk is made from silk spun by bombyx mori (cultivated) silkmoths.
5 inch staple ; soft and easy to work with!
It is in its natural creamy off-white color — unbleached, undyed, and uncoated!
This fiber has already been degummed, and is perfect for any research project on silk fiber which does not require the serecin.
