By The Yard:

The raising of silk for this unique fabric is all done on small family farms whose Mulberry trees are up to 400 years old. There is only one hand-tended raising per year, in the spring, making this fabric very special.

The very finest threads used in this fabric are all hand reeled and the fabric is hand woven on traditional foot pedal looms.

This is the only place in the world still doing silk reeling entirely by hand, enabling this and our other fabrics made in this region to be the only reeled peace silks.

Please note that “Purity” is all hand-reeled and handwoven, and there are variations in the weave as part of the authentic hand process.
