This unique and precious silk is made from knit 100% Ahimsa™ peace silk, creating a soft and stretchy fabric with no elastic!

It is made from cultivated bombyx mori peace silk in India. Peace silk, also called “vegetarian silk”, is from cocoons from which the moth has completed its transformation and emerges free and happy.

Ahimsa™ Knit is machine knit in a tube that is 52″ around (in circumference). It won’t unravel when cut and needs no hemming. Great for simple dresses and pillowcases!

As always, this silk is 100% pure and natural, and contains no additives, finishes, or coatings.
